EMF Science
What Is Science?
There exists a substantial amount of EMF scientific data from non-industry funded studies showing harm from human made non-ionizing electromagnetic field radiation (EMF's). For people who care about their health, this gives rational cause to take precautionary steps to prevent that harm from happening.
But first, we must ask the question "what is science?" If we don't actually know what science is, it will be hard for us to know whether or not we can trust the results or conclusions of a scientific study. If you are not the one doing the study, you are relying on someone else that is doing the study - and this is where it gets real.
So, what is science?
By definition, science is any of various intellectual activities concerned with the physical world and its phenomena and entailing unbiased observations and systematic experimentation. In general, a science involves a pursuit of knowledge covering general truths or the operations of fundamental laws.
In simple terms, science is knowledge of the world of nature and is to be considered as knowledge of natural regularities that is subjected to some degree of skeptical rigour and explained by rational causes. It is imperative to understand that nature is known only through the senses, of which sight, touch, and hearing are the dominant ones, and the human notion of reality is skewed toward the objects of these senses.
The invention of such instruments as the telescope, the microscope, and the Geiger counter has brought an ever-increasing range of phenomena within the scope of the senses. Thus, scientific knowledge of the world is only partial, and the progress of science follows the ability of humans to make phenomena perceivable. EMF's are completely invisible to the human senses and sense organs (ears, eyes, nose, tongue, skin). For this reason we must rely on EMF meters to reveal electromagnetic fields to us and to help us study and understand them.
Science has a very long history. Through archeological records, scholars understand that science made its appearance before writing and that prehistoric humans were close observers of nature who carefully tracked the seasons and times of the year. It is important for us to know about science history so we may have a better understanding of the nature of science as it exists today, especially as it pertains to EMF research.

The Nature of Science Today
Dr. Andrew Marino is an EMF researcher and scientist, and certainly one of the greatest of our time. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1962 with a major in physics and a minor in philosophy. During 1963–1981 he earned a PhD in biophysics and JD in law from Syracuse University, and worked in the bioelectromagnetics research laboratory at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Syracuse, New York. From 1981 to 2014 he worked in the departments of Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, and Cellular Biology & Anatomy at the LSU Medical School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dr. Marino has a lot to say about the nature of scientific research today.
During a video interview, Dr. Marino gave a very profound description about the nature of scientific research going on today:
"The question of health risk due to mobile phone fields is like anything else in this world. What gets done is what gets paid for. Scientists require money to work. The people who have money to pay for research today (99 times out of 100) are the cell telephone companies.
So, the work that gets done tends to be work that is controlled by the scientists whom they control. So, today you have in the world two classes of scientists. You have scientists who are essentially working either directly or indirectly for the industry, and then you have another group of scientists who manage to get money from some source other than the industry.
Now, if you ask this group of scientists “are mobile phones a health hazard,” the answer will be unequivocally definitely “NO.”
If you ask this group of scientists you will get a range of answers. At one end will be “YES, CLEARLY SO” and at the other end will be “we’re not sure but we deeply suspect there’s a problem and we need more honest money for research.”
So, two groups – this group and that group – completely different groups of scientists depending on whether they are compromised in whether they can give you independent opinions or are not compromised. That’s the nature of science today in this field.1
Some people will think that research that’s performed by an industry is credible. It isn’t. It doesn’t deserve your consideration and the reason it doesn’t, unlike the rules I function under – I get an NIH grant I have to tell the world exactly what I’m going to do with the money. It’s your money, it came from your taxes. And then after I generate the data the guys from the power company – cell phone company – have a right to see every piece of data that I took. They have a right to know what I plan to do, they have a right to know what I got – there are no secrets whatsoever. Those are the rules I function under.
The guys on the other side function under the opposite set of rules. All you see is what comes out of the factory. And there’s no logical or necessary or scientific relationship for what went on inside the factory. The basic criteria needed to afford credibility is missing. So, if you believe it up front without a critical analysis, shame on you.2

United States Navy Studies
The 1972 United States Navy Report with 2300 studies and references on the biological responses to radio frequency radiation and microwave radiation.
U.S. National Toxicology Study 2018
The 2018 U.S. National Toxicology Program Study found "clear evidence" for cancer and DNA damage from cell phone radiation.
Italian Ramazzini Study 2018
Researchers with the renowned Ramazzini Institute (RI) in Italy announce that a large-scale lifetime study of lab animals exposed to environmental levels of cell tower radiation developed cancer.

Environmental Health Trust Scientific Studies
Founded by Dr. Devra Davis, the Environmental Health Trust (EHT) is a think tank that promotes a healthier environment through research, education, and policy. EHT is one of the best resources for EMF published research and studies.
Dr. Magda Havas Studies
Study by Dr. Magda Havas and colleagues in the peer-reviewed European Journal of Oncology Library Vol. 5, 2010 shows that radiation from a digital cordless phone base station affects the heart in a double-blind provocation study.
Dr. Havas’s research since the 1990s is concerned with the biological effects of electromagnetic pollution including radio frequency radiation, electromagnetic fields, dirty electricity, and ground current.
Pregnancy & Fetal Studies
As of August 2016 over 200 physicians, scientists, and public health professionals from around the world have signed onto the Baby Safe Project “to express their concern about the risk that wireless radiation poses to pregnancy and to urge pregnant women to limit their exposures.”

Men's Fertility Studies
Cell phone radiation damages sperm. Consistent evidence from experimental research, epidemiological studies and in vitro (cells) laboratory, and in vivo (animal) studies shows that the radio frequency radiation exposure from wireless devices is associated with men’s reproductive health issues.
